Announcing Executive Assistant to Bishop's Office

The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas is pleased to announce the hiring of Melissa Soderberg as the new Executive Assistant to the Bishop's Office. She will support the ministry and mission of the diocese by providing administrative support for various ministries, clergy, laity, diocesan staff, and the Diocesan Bishop of West Texas.

A native of New Braunfels and member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Melissa shares, "I am thrilled by this opportunity to join the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas staff family. I am looking forward to the future and feeling grateful for the path that has led me here."

As a vital member of the diocesan office staff, Melissa's responsibilities will include communicating, scheduling, and coordinating with various ministries, working closely with the bishop and diocesan staff to support the work of the Diocese, and administering the diocesan calendar and facility reservations at the Bishop Jones Center.
