Diocese of West Texas Seeks Director of Marketing and Communications

The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas (San Antonio, TX) is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications. This position is responsible for all aspects of communication for the Diocese and will plan, create, manage, and direct all media communications under the guidance of the Diocesan Bishop. The Director will also develop communication strategies for Diocesan programs and ministries.

Areas of responsibility for the Director of Marketing and Communications include Marketing and Communication Strategy; Congregation Support; Diocesan Bishop and Council tasks; Department and Ministry Support; as well as Leading the communications department. The position will require an organized leader committed to collaboration with excellent written and verbal skills as well as experience developing strategic communication plans.

The Director of Marketing and Communications will work at the diocesan office in San Antonio, the beautiful Bishop Jones Center. Some travel and occasional overnight stays will be required. Click here to download a complete job description including benefits overview.
