St. Nicholas Church Plant Celebrates Consecration of New Worship Space
The Rt. Rev. David Reed, together with the Rev. Beth Wyndham, the Rev. Bryn Caddell, and the community of St. Nicholas Episcopal Church Plant celebrated the Consecration of their worship space in Bulverde on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. The Rev. Beth Wyndham reflects on the recent Consecration Service in the video shared below, accompanied by scenes taking place over the course of the evening's liturgy.
The Rev. Beth Wyndham was commissioned as diocesan Church Planter by Bishop Reed in 2019, alongside her husband, Jeremy, during Council, the annual gathering of diocesan clergy and lay leaders. Following the purchase of Front Porch Bar & Grill in August 2021, the St. Nicholas community has worked diligently to transform the former restaurant into a worship space.
In an interview prior to the service, Jeremy Wyndham shared, "The transformation of the building has been amazing, as everyone will get to see tonight. We are so thankful for everyone that has been a part of this process and the transformation, including those in our congregation, our neighbors here in Bulverde, and from all of the Episcopal churches in the surrounding area. The support we have received over the last several weeks has been overwhelming."
