52nd Annual Diocesan Silent Retreat
Reflections: Seeing Whose and Who We Are, Mustang Island Conference Center
There is a huge silence inside each of us that beckons us into itself, and the recovery of our own silence can begin to teach us the language of heaven. [Meister Eckart, 1260-1328]
Join us for the 52nd Diocesan Silent Retreat for Men and Women at Mustang Island Conference Center, November 9-12.
This year’s conductor is the Rev. Nancy Springer, Associate Rector at St. Francis-by-the-Lake in Canyon Lake who invites you on “a journey of discovering how we each uniquely reflect the Image of God in which we are all created.” Mother Nancy is an experienced spiritual director who is comfortable with practicing silence and an able guide to the spiritual gifts of this discipline.
The rhythm of each year’s retreat is anchored in praying the Daily Offices together and sharing daily Eucharist. The conductor’s meditations on the theme will offer inspiration for individual reflection and prayer during abundant free time throughout the weekend.
The 2023 Retreat Fee is $400, which includes single room lodging and 8 meals.
Some scholarships are available by request.
