Join the Rev. Michael Koehler and his family for A Very Capers Christmas!

Bring your family and gather ‘round the Camp Capers Christmas Tree and cozy up to the fire with a mug of hot cocoa. Decorate Capers’ Christmas Cookies, sing Christmas songs around the campfire, and get crafty in Arts & Crafts to make Christmas tree ornaments. Learn more about the season of Advent and Christmas and how we, as Episcopalians, prepare for and celebrate the birth of Jesus. Other activities include reindeer games, “sledding”, create a snow globe, build your own gingerbread house, ugly sweater contest and more!

We’ll take care of the cooking and clean up, while your family gets to make their own holiday memories. So, pack your bags and sign up for A Very Capers Christmas Family Retreat!

Each day will conclude with an end-of-day prayer service called Compline and optional evening activity like Lawn Games, Bring-Your-Own-Board-Game Hour, Campfire and S’mores, and more.

Don’t forget to bring your masks and any board games or cards you may want to play while at Camp Capers! Need to stay connected? Wireless internet hotspots are available around camp, to allow guests to "work from camp."

Throughout the retreat, comprehensive health and safety guidelines will be in place to protect our guests and camp staff. Wearing fabric masks will be required inside all buildings (except family's accommodations), only members of the same household will share lodging, physical distancing will be observed, as well as proper hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and sanitization of shared spaces.

Registration includes three days/two nights' lodging, meals, and activities; rates are listed below.

Lodge Room Rates (up to 6 guests per room: 2 queen beds, private bathroom, linens provided, covered balcony/porch)

No charge for infants 24 months and younger at the time of the retreat.

8:00 a.m. Breakfast in the Dining Hall, open through 9:00 a.m.

9:30 a.m. Morning Activities

1:00 p.m. Quiet Hour / Free Time
