Ewart G. Jones, Jr. Bio
Ewart Jones has spent nearly half of his life working with youth and young adults in various capacities. For the last 10 years he has been employed by Rice University in their Student Affairs department. He credits his ability to relate to and mentor college-aged students to his time as a youth minister (the correlation between middle school and college is scary). He has served as a volunteer, part-time and full-time youth minister before becoming the director of youth and young adult minister for the Diocese of Texas (the diocese in which he grew up). He also served as a member of the Episcopal Church's committee for young adult ministry consulting on various initiatives and coordinating events. His youth ministry experience is currently coming in handy with his pre-teen daughters, Tabitha and Vivian.
