The diocese gives thanks and praises for:
St Philip’s, San Antonio. Founded on May 7, 1895 at the present day Little Church of La Villita, located in one of the first neighborhoods in San Antonio. They celebrated 130 years on Sunday, May 4.
St.Mark’s, San Antonio. One of the oldest churches in the diocese, St.Mark’s was founded in 1858. The church recently recognized 150 years of worship in the current sanctuary. St.Mark’s was established on what was a part of the Alamo lands. The beautiful architechure and stained-glass windows are reflective of the gothic revival deign prominent at that time.
