Hit the Links and Help a Child or Family Experience the Joy of Camp

Join the Rt. Rev. David M. Reed, Bishop of West Texas and the Rt. Rev. Dr. David G. Read, Bishop Coadjutor of West Texas for the 18th Annual Bishop's Golf Classic, Friday, November 3 at Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio. Check-In begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.
Dear Friends,
Your participation in the Bishop's Golf Tournament is a wonderful, fun, exciting opportunity to help raise much-needed money for the Camp's Scholarship Fund. Every year, between 400 and 600 people request financial assistance so they may attend camp at one of our three centers, Camp Capers, Duncan Park, and Mustang Island Conference Center!
The generosity of our golfers and sponsors will help families from across the diocese, as well as children from the Good Samaritan Community Center, St. Jude's Ranch for abused and neglected children, the Magdalena House, Wounded Warriors, and Veterans. These efforts will extend beyond our borders, fostering transformative experiences of Christ's love through mission, worship, fun, and formation.
By participating in the tournament, either as a sponsor or player, you help a child or family experience an intentional Christian community where they have the opportunity to know what it means to feel like a beloved child of God. You are helping provide an amazing and meaningful experience that they might never have had if it wasn't for your help - that's incredibly powerful - and we cannot thank you enough!

2023 Bishop's Golf Classic Information
Schedule of Events:
10:00 a.m. - Check In, driving range, and putting green open
12:00 p.m. - Shotgun Start, with lunch provided on the course.
5:00 p.m. - Tournament awards ceremony and reception
Sponsorship Information
- Gold Sponsorship ($2,500) includes: 4 entry fees, sponsorship recognition, 2 tee signs, and "the Extras" (2 Mulligans, Beat the Bishop Contest Entry, etc.).
- Silver Sponsorship ($1,500) includes: 4 entry fees, sponsorship recognition, and 1 tee sign.
- Bronze Sponsorship ($500) includes: 2 entry fees, sponsorship recognition, and 1 tee sign.
- Hole Sponsorship ($100) includes: sponsorship recognition and 1 tee sign.
