Registration Closes October 3rd for Camp Capers' 75th Anniversary Celebration

Monday, October 3, is the last day to register for the Camp Capers' 75th Anniversary Celebration. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join your fellow campers to reminisce, tell stories and enjoy a magical weekend together in the hill country. The Camp Capers' 75th Anniversary Committee is excited to release the Schedule of Events for the weekend, sharing "The #Capers75 Committee is working diligently behind the scenes to make this weekend event as special as the location!"

Check-In begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, in the Welcome Center, then take a moment to spend time at the river, socialize, create custom Name Tags and Prayer Flags before dinner at 6:00 p.m. Compline will close out Friday evening official gatherings at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday will be a flurry of activities including "The Heart of Capers: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow” teaching led by Stacy  Dowdy at 10:00 a.m., a Service of Holy Eucharist led by the Rt. Rev. David Reed at 5:15 p.m., and a concert and dance featuring Down for the Count at 8:00 p.m.! Click here to view the full Schedule of Events for the weekend.

Don't forget to visit the Camp Store while you are there to purchase #Capers75 T-Shirts and hats; Gretchen Kreidler Austin will be selling her custom belt buckles, money clips, rings, and other items on Saturday in the Dining Hall.

Raffle Tickets for Camp Capers' 75th Anniversary Project Available Now!

The Camp Capers 75th Anniversary Committee has curated incredible camp-centric items for the 75th Anniversary Project raffle to raise funds to purchase a new golf cart, Gator, and anything else they need from the Camp Capers' wish list! Tickets are available to purchase online through Monday, October 10, at midnight. It's the perfect way to lend your support to help raise funds for the 75th Anniversary Project!

Purchasing your tickets for the 75th Anniversary Project's online raffle is easy; choose the item(s) you would like to win and how many entries you would like to purchase. Ticket prices range from $5 for one entry to $100 for 40 entries. The drawings will take place on Tuesday, October 11; winners will be contacted with instructions on how to claim their prize.
