Camp Capers - Health Care Provider / Camp Nurse

Camp Capers is hiring Health Care Provider/Camp Nurses for the 2025 camping season. Each camp session is staffed by at least one healthcare provider who administers prescribed medications, takes care of scrapes and bruises, and determines whether a camper needs to see a doctor or must go home to prevent the spread of a contagious illness. Indicate the session(s) when you are available, as well as a place to explain your calendar preferences in more detail on the Camp Nurse application.

Camp Capers - Session Staff / Summer Volunteers

Camp Capers is hiring Session Staff for the 2025 Summer Camp season.

Session Counselors are assigned sessions on a first come, first serve basis; please keep your availability in mind.

Session Counselor applicants under 18 years old must use their family's account to apply for the volunteer Session Counseling position. Volunteer hours for time served at camp can be granted upon request; contact camp.capers@dwtx.org for more information.

Camp Capers Session Counselor training will take place pre-Summer Camp! Stay tuned for an email announcing early training dates, and additional information. Camp Capers - Summer Camp Staff

Camp Capers is hiring Summer Camp Staff for the 2025 camping season. Each summer Camp Capers hires approximately 40 summer staff. The goal of every staff member is to provide a safe and loving environment for young people to experience Christian relationships and the awesome power of God’s love. All summer staff will be expected to attend Staff Training prior to the start of camp.

Duncan Park - Summer Staff

Duncan Park is hiring Summer Staff for the 2025 camping season. Duncan Park Adventure Guides serve as a host and guide for groups of youth, adults, and families as part of our Summer Camp program. They will work closely with the Director, other guides, interns, and volunteer leaders. For each of the eight, week-long sessions Adventure Guides lead groups in onsite activities and adventures throughout the Rocky Mountains. Off-site activities include whitewater rafting and rock climbing (both facilitated by outside organizations), day hikes in the Roosevelt National Forest, multiple night backpacking trips through the Indian Peaks Wilderness, and single night camping trips. Owned and facilitated by the Episcopal Church in West Texas as part of their year-round camping ministry, Duncan Park is 20 miles west (about a 45-minute drive) from Boulder, Colorado. At 9,530 feet elevation the property is surrounded by the Roosevelt National Forest and Boulder County Open Space; and the Continental Divide is an eight-mile hike from our front door. Guests and staff live completely off-grid, relying on solar panels for electricity and water drawn from our well. Duncan Park truly is an amazing place!

Mustang Island Family Camp - Summer Staff

Mustang Island Family Camp is hiring Summer Staff for the 2025 camping season. Mustang Island Family Camp summer staff members work together as a “Christian hospitality” team, to make each family’s experience meaningful and hassle-free so they can enjoy intentional family time together as they rest, reflect and renew with God and each other in His coastal creation. As a part of the family camp staff, individuals will work in all aspects of camp: from checking-in families and welcoming them to the island to working in the kitchen during meals; from setting up the beach, leading beach activities and teaching surf lessons to leading arts and crafts. And much more!
