It's time for a County Fair Church Picnic at Camp Capers on Saturday, October 7!

The Bishops' Transition Committee is excited to invite everyone in the Diocese of West Texas to celebrate the shared ministry of the Rt. Rev. David M. and Patti Reed with a festival of fun and food for friends of all ages. It's a one-day County Fair Church Picnic Saturday, October 7 at Camp Capers.

Schedule for the day!

11:30 a.m. Arrive at Camp Capers and gather in the Dining Hall
12:00 p.m. The Rt. Rev. Dr. David G. Read opens the Celebration
12:05 p.m. Barbecue lunch
1:15 p.m. Piñata Breaking followed by lawn games, relays, dunking booth, cake/pie walk. Don't worry about missing the Texas v. OU game; there will be a watch party on the big screen.
3:00 p.m. Closing Service in St. Francis Chapel with live music and a special Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Chapel and Prayers of Thanksgiving for the Reeds
4:00 p.m. Send Off (Bp. David M. and Patti)
